Judy began writing on her father's neon orange typewriter as a child. That Christmas Santa brought her a Mattel typewriter (CAPS only!) and she has never looked back. Her first published piece was a humor essay in Glamour Magazine and since, she has published hundreds of feature articles, columns, destination guides, business and travel in both trade and consumer publications, including Writer's Digest, The Vancouver Sun, Incentive, BC Business, Pharmaceutical Executive, and more. Judy was an events planner for two decades, based out of both Palo Alto and Vancouver, planning hundreds of meeting throughout the U.S. and Europe and has held senior communications positions in both Vancouver, BC and Silicon Valley, but ultimately, prefers the freelance life. Judy graduated from the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) and was one of the first students admitted to Stanford's prestigious MLA program. Her first short story was published in "The Best of Palo Alto Writing" and she has just finished her first novel, Miss Curley's Corpse.
